Just thought I’d let you know about a few things like this new live video of me cranking out one of my gut-wrenching works of shiny goldness: An Interesting Life. Check it.
The song was recorded late last year at Melbourne’s famous Songwriter’s in the Round an awesome gig put on by Melting Pot who not only do wonderful work promoting awesome music, but also collectively smell great (it’s true).
Some Bloggy Goodness
Speaking of Melting Pot, I have worked quite closely for some months with their benevolent leader, Liam, helping them to get their website happening, and during that time managed to talk them into giving me a regular column, or as the kids are calling it, blog.
It’s about how the Musician (aka Mewzo) must first win “the battle” in the mind. Old Zen geezers call the problematic aspects of the mind “The Monkey”. If you can tame the Monkey then happiness and success as a musician (and with any luck, bananas) are within reach. It’s Mewzo Vs Monkey – let the battle begin!
