Time For A Rest

By Seamus Anthony

After blogging my little brains out for some time, I have decided to have a short, temporary break from it. I have several projects on the boil and I am determined to reduce the amount of these by finishing some off, so that I can do less in order to do better, if that makes sense.

Right now I am:

  • writing a new ebook for Rebel Zen called “Taming The Monkey Mind: What Stops You and How To Stop That” which will be released with a song called “Monkey Mind” and a video too.
  • Rolling out a marketing plan for the release of the band I am in called Zuiiza. The marketing plan had just been locked in and now it is time to execute, which is a major undertaking.
  • I am running my business and of course, helping to run my family.
  • I am also part way through a children’s story for my daughter which has been dragging on for way too long, and she keeps asking when it will be finished. The poor thing, I started writing it when she was four, she’s now five and a half, I think the suspense is getting to her.

Blogging takes up a lot of my time and energy, and while I am committed to continuing it, I need to finish and be done with the two books above before I get back into it, sudden inspiration notwithstanding.

I am obsessed with totally reducing the amount of projects I have on the boil. I have already reduced it down to much less than I did only a few months ago, and it’s a great feeling. Finishing the 2 books above will reduce it to blogging and promoting the Zuiiza album, which to me seems nice and tightly focussed and therefore likely to be more effective. Creativity needs constraints!

Watch this space… I’ll be back soon with a new ebook!
