“Simple can be harder than complex: You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple. But it’s worth it in the end because once you get there, you can move mountains.”
Steve Jobs said that. And he was right, it is actually harder to think clean than to think messy. But if you make yourself sit down and do the hard work of thinking through everything until you remember what you actually want to do, then you rise above the fog of confusion that the Monkey Mind tries to scuttle you with and you start to get somewhere.
That’s what my new book, “Taming The Monkey Mind” is about. It’s out next week – meanwhile, why not check out the companion song: Monkey Mind. At the very least it’s always fun to laugh at a man in dress.
